BID: Steel Rivers COG — 2024-BRP-011 Blight Removal, Whitaker Borough - REBID (Demolition)

Steel Rivers Council of Governments (SRCOG) is accepting sealed proposals via PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) until 10:00 AM prevailing time on November 3, 2026, when bids will be publicly opened and read. Project 2024-BRP-011: Blight Removal, Whitaker Borough - REBID. Demolition of three (3) residential structures in Whitaker Borough (112 Chalfont, 116 Regina, 172 Frank), including asbestos removal and abatement as required, backfill, grading, and seeding of lot, and all related work in full compliance with all Federal, State, County, and Local laws and regulations and the Contract Documents. 45-day completion. Contract specifications, instructions to bidders, general conditions, form of proposal and agreement are available via PennBid. Proposals must include a Bid Bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the proposal. Compliance is required with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, Title VI / Civil Rights Act, Dept. of Labor Equal Opportunity Clause, Executive Orders 11625 and 12138, Section 504 / ADA, the Allegheny County MBE/WBE Program (13% minority / 2% female goals), and Allegheny County Ordinance #6867-12 (5% Veteran-Owned Small Business goal).
